As artists, most of us spend a lot of time indoors. We all know the importance of fresh air and if you're not working in an outdoor environment, here are some things you can do to improve the air quality in your work space:
I use the Honeywell Air Purifier from amazon (I do get a commission for any of the links you use on my blog, so thanks!). I also buy the replacement filters every couple months or so. This has been super helpful since moving into a house that gives me allergies. Its easy to use and works great!
2. Get a humidifier
Adding a humidifier might be a great option in your painting space if you're finding it hard to keep your paints from drying out too fast. Its also said that it helps with congestion and allergies. I enjoy it for the ambiance and for the fragrance. It also helps keep my hands from getting too dry and skin cracked. Great option for indoor work spaces. Check out the links to a great humidifier as well as my favorite essential oils.
3. Decorate with plants!
Plants use the carbon dioxide you breathe out and generate oxygen for you to breathe it! Its a no brainer to have plants in your work space! Here are some great options for indoor, low-light tolerant plants.
I also love this funny plant watering device: would make a great gag gift for your plant loving friend or a treat for yourself!
Hopefully you'll find these work for your space and start feeling better about your indoor situation!
Keep Creating!
